Join us for a trip to Ocean Park where you’ll get to learn about marine life and the conservation work that goes on there, plus find out how the park’s thrill rides work!

Co-organised by State Street, this visit includes Hong Kong’s first Marine Life Stranding and Education Centre, where you’ll learn how the Centre is helping sea creatures that get stranded on land and in shallow waters. You’ll see how advanced equipment like CT scanners and the histopathology lab contribute to research including autopsies on animals. At the workshop, you’ll learn how the park’s rides work and get to design a small ride. You’ll also visit the Grand Aquarium.

​In partnership with Bloomberg, the Hackathon will take place over three weeks. During this time, participants will form teams and join a series of virtual workshops and self-directed learning courses. Guided by corporate volunteers, the teams will then utilise their new skills to ideate, design, and build an AI application that helps solve every day problems.
