Electric vehicles have been gaining significant popularity in recent years. Have you wondered how we can harness the power of technology to fuel this growth while driving sustainability? JEC and Zung Fu invite you to an immersive STEM workshop that will unleash the secrets of sustainable progress and ignite your passion for hands-on learning.   

Dive into the world of EV and renewable energy. Uncover the inner workings of EV, discover the charging mechanisms, and assemble your own EV.  

Upon completion of the workshop, you will receive a certificate of participation. The workshop agenda includes: 

• Exploring the secrets behind EV 

• Understanding renewable energy and sustainable development 

• Hands-on STEM workshop - Assemble your own EV model 

• Interact with industry experts and like-minded individuals

CLP Power, one of the largest investor-owned power businesses in Asia, provides electricity to more than 80% of Hong Kong’s population. In this work shadowing programme, you will have an immersive on-the-job training experience as 3D model drawing, use 3D printing to produce tools for training or daily operation, and access equipment that are vital to the provision of electricity in your homes. You will also meet female engineers who will share their career paths, their views on the future of the industry, and STEM applications in it.

All participants will receive a certificate of participation. 

Date: July 17 – 19, 2024 (Wednesday to Friday)

Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Venue: CLP Power Learning Institute (Shek Mun, Shatin. Near MTR station)

Quota: 7 (on a first come, first served basis; priority will be given to F4 to F6 participants)
