This summer, GGT x State Street warmly invites students to join our Job Shadowing Programme and step inside one of the world’s leading trust banks and asset management organizations. Gain first-hand exposure to the dynamic environment of a global financial institution and explore the diverse opportunities available in the worlds of finance and business.
If career development were a World Cup, this would be your chance to start warming up early and gain a head start on building valuable experience!
By joining this programme, in addition to touring the State Street office, you can also:
• Participate in job shadowing experiences across multiple departments
• Observe the day-to-day work of professionals in financial markets, investment management, financial technology (FinTech), client services, and more
• Gain insights into how a global organization operates
• Engage face-to-face with State Street employee volunteers and industry professionals
• Take part in a one-on-one mock interview and receive immediate professional feedback to strengthen your academic and career readiness
• Gain inspiring stories from female industry leaders about their personal and professional journeys
• Discover your interests and explore potential future career paths
Whether you aspire to pursue a career in finance, technology, or another professional field, this programme offers a unique and valuable learning experience. Through hands-on participation and meaningful interactions, you will broaden your horizons, gain a deeper understanding of the skills and qualities valued in today’s workplace, and better prepare yourself for future academic and career success. All participants will receive a certificate of participation. Event details are as follows:
Date: August 25 – 27, 2026 (Tuesday - Thursday)
Time: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Venue: State Street Hong Kong Office (Central)
Quota: 8 participants (on a first come, first served basis; priority will be given to Form 4 to Form 6 participants)
